Upper G I Endoscopy

Binocular examination of food pipe, food bag (stomach), small intestine. Examination of ulcers, blisters, burns. Removing nails, coins, etc. from the stomach, for the treatment of vomiting of blood, tying the swollen veins with a band. Widening the narrowing of the alimentary canal with a balloon. Balloon treatment of ecclesia cardia. Re-opening of the tube in cancer of the esophagus by stent. Treatment of obesity by endoscopy (balloon). Insertion of food pipe from outside (peg tube) in case of not being able to eat.

Colonoscopy

Examination of diseases of fecal matter, rectum and entire large intestine by binoculars. Detection and treatment of ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, TB of stomach, cancer and other lumps, fissure and piles.A colonoscopy (koe-lun-OS-kuh-pee) is an exam used to look for changes — such as swollen, irritated tissues, polyps or cancer — in the large intestine (colon) and rectum. During a colonoscopy, a long, flexible tube (colonoscope) is inserted into the rectum.

ERCP

Examination of bile duct and pancreas by binoculars. Detection and treatment of various diseases like gallstones, cancer, cysts etc. Dilation of the constriction of the bile duct with a balloon. Re-opening of the duct by stent in cancer of the gallbladder.
